Eric Mann is the Vice President of Engineering at Rebellion Defense. He brings more than 15 years of experience from various corners of the private sector, including healthcare, insurance, cybersecurity, cryptography, cloud-scale engineering, and AI/ML integrations into enterprise. Previously, Eric served as Vacasa’s VP of Information Security where he built a comprehensive, enterprise-grade security program and held a Director of Engineering role where he managed diverse teams of software engineers, data scientists and security engineers.
He is an internationally-recognized speaker and technical expert and has published books on both cybersecurity and modern software design.
Eric has a BS in Physics and Mathematics and a BS in Political Science, both from the University of Oregon, as well as an MBA in International Management and Global Marketing from Portland State University.
